The Memory Training Centers of America Chooses HAPPYneuron to Bring Brain Games to Its Partner Senior Facilities Nationwide
Centers to offer HAPPYneuron online games as part of memory fitness programs in assisted living facilities


/Health and Fitness News Articles/ - MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, July 17, 2008 - HAPPYneuron, a leading provider of scientifically-based online cognitive exercises, and the Memory Training Centers of America, a principal provider of programs for the treatment and prevention of memory impairment, have partnered to bring HAPPYneuron's brain fitness games to the Memory Training Centers' new "memory fitness centers" in its more than 20 affiliated facilities across the country.

The HAPPYneuron online program was chosen over competing programs for the new memory fitness centers based on its strong scientific validation and its convenient internet access. Together, the two entities will provide preventive brain fitness programs to individuals who wish to proactively improve their cognitive skills and combat memory impairment.

HAPPYneuron games were developed by a team of neurologists, cognitive psychologists and educational scientists to offer 35 unique, fun and challenging games that target the five major cognitive brain functions of memory, attention, language, executive functions and visual/spatial skills.

The Memory Training Centers of America provides programs and services as a subsidiary of the Alzheimer's Treatment and Memory Training Centers of America (ATMTCA). Services offered include cognitive evaluation, memory training, psychological counseling, caregiver support and preventative treatments. Treatment services are currently provided at more than 20 assisted living and enriched housing communities nationwide, with some hospital-based programs and others located at independent senior living and retirement communities. All treatment services are paid for by Medicare.
